Christine Hall

I'm a career technologist and generative artist living in New York City.

By day, I am a co-founder of Floor, on a mission to make NFTs understandable and accessible. I previously served as the COO for Robinhood's crypto business, and in a prior life led the effort for the company to build a clearing and settlement system atop the financial industry's decades-old infrastructure. In short: I like hard problems, and I like solving them with code.

By night, I am a creative coder and student of the early generative pioneers. My generative art journey began in 2022 when I started studying the work of Edward Zajec through an experiment called #zajecstudies. Fascinated with the surprising geometry of his work, I set out to reproduce and adapt his 1960s-era pieces, learning p5js and modern generative frameworks along the way.

Three collections make up the work of my Zajec Studies, all minted on fx(hash): Tendencies, Tema, and Adjacent
Based off the study of Zajec's pieces RAM, Il Cubo / TVC and Diagonal White

My recent artistic focus spans across three separate algorithms: "Liminal", "Crossword" and "Untitled". All are written using p5js and have not yet been minted on the blockchain:
